Fair Housing-2 hour Virtual Meeting @ Virtual on Zoom

Approved for 2 CE hours by the New Jersey and New York State Appraisal Boards. Please keep in mind the 2-hour program does not meet the 2022 NY state requirements for Fair Housing, Fair Lending, which will be offered in early 2022. Also, approved for the required Real Estate Commission 1 hour core credit on Fair Housing.

The Cost Approach: Unnecessary or Vital to a Healthy Practice @ Virtual on Zoom

Virtual Meeting Participation Guidelines:

Students must have webcam/iphone/ipad/smartphone capability to participate and receive continuing education credit. The platform will be interactive and live. The instructor must be able to physically see and interact with all students and students must be able see and interact with the instructor.

You must send a copy of a picture ID, which can be your driver’s license with all details blacked out except the name and picture emailed to the Chapter office as verification after you have registered for the offering prior to the offering start date.

You cannot take virtual education from a vehicle; you must be able to see the presentation, be seen and respond if necessary.

ZOOM access link will be emailed to student prior to the offering in separate email from registration confirmation.

You do not need a paid account from ZOOM to participate.

If you are using your Ipad/Iphone/smartphone please download the ZOOM app prior to offering.

Please check your webcam privacy settings on your computer.

If you have a Lenovo laptop, you must have the Lenovo Vantage App installed on your computer for webcam to work.

Check state approvals before registering to make sure the states you are licensed have approved the course/seminar and allow Virtual education in place of classroom education during the pandemic.

7 Hour USPAP 2020-2021 Update @ TBD

You need to purchase the 2020-2021 USPAP book from the Appraisal Foundation, www.appraisalfoundation.org. The 2020-2021 Student Handbook is included by download.

7 Hour USPAP Update Virtual @ Virtual on Zoom

There are two (2) required books for this class: the new student handbook (available in November 2021) which is ordered through the Appraisal Institute and the Appraisal Foundation’s 2020-2021, Uniform Standards of Professional Practice (USPAP) Book.

If you choose printed materials when registering for the Appraisal Institute course, you will pay an additional $15 plus shipping. If you do not choose printed materials, you will download your materials from your Appraisal Institute account portal, Education and Events section.

Breaks and lunch will be throughout the class. You must be on camera and audio working 100% when the class is in session or will be cancelled from the class.

Note: If you do not see state approval, contact the chapter office. Most courses are submitted by the national office, but all state specific courses and some seminars are submitted for approval by the chapter and will not show up on the national state approval list.
