New Jersey based Commercial Real Estate Appraisal Firm seeks a self-motivated individual to act as a Senior Commercial Appraiser. Such candidate is required to be state certified and have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in the valuation of commercial real estate including retail, office, industrial, multi-family, and special purpose properties. Our territory covers all of New Jersey, New York, eastern Pennsylvania, and Connecticut. A complete understanding of Microsoft Office, Excel and Argus software is required. Experience with appraisal report writing and database software packages, such as Valcre is preferred. Candidates should be certified general appraisers with 6+ years of experience. Expertise in litigation, tax assessment challenge, affordable housing, or energy/mining a plus. The Manager will participate in business development and supervise staff including Appraiser Trainees. As such, the candidate should be qualified as a Supervisory Appraiser in at least one state.
